You can stop mosquitoes by getting rid of standing water and planting flowers like Marigolds, Lavender, Basil, Rosemary, Citronella or Catnip. Make sure you empty baby pools each time you use it to get rid of water too. Cleaning your gutters and changing water in places like birdbaths will also help keep away mosquitoes.

Cleaning you fans and air-conditioning units can help keep you cool and save space in your garage. Moving things that you use, like beach gear, barbecue tools and picnic supplies and pool toys somewhere easy to access can save you space too.

Keep Your Cool

Keep your home cool this summer with these tips for inside. Having a smart thermostat in your home will make a big difference. It is also important to clean your air-conditioner and change the filter. Closing your blinds and curtains at home helps. As well as setting your thermostat to 78 degrees whenever you’re home, and spend more time outside by barbecuing instead of using the stove.
