Amanda Blakeney has been helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership since 2013. Originally from Hammond, Louisiana, Amanda is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and began her career working closely with the homebuilding industry before transitioning into mortgage lending. Her experience working directly with builders provided her with a unique understanding of the construction process and the important role financing plays in helping families build their dream homes.

As one of the original team members of LH Lending when it was established in October 2014, Amanda has built a reputation for providing exceptional service, clear communication, and a personalized lending experience. She specializes in new construction lending and enjoys helping clients navigate the homebuying process by finding the right loan solution to fit their individual needs and financial goals.

Amanda’s strong builder relationships, including her long-standing partnership with Level Homes, allow her to provide valuable guidance throughout the entire homebuilding journey. She understands that purchasing a home can feel overwhelming and takes pride in making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

“My goal is to take the stress away by being available, communicating consistently, and making sure my clients always know what to expect,” Amanda says.

Amanda’s dedication to her clients and commitment to excellence have earned her national recognition in the mortgage industry. She was named to the Scotsman Guide Top Originators rankings, including being recognized in 2026 as the #1 Top Mortgage Broker in Louisiana, #10 Top Dollar Volume in Louisiana, and #19 Most Closed Loans in Louisiana. She has also previously been recognized on the Scotsman Guide Top Women Originators list, Top Originators list, and a GMFS Chairman’s Club recipient. Amanda’s success is a reflection of her passion for helping families achieve homeownership and the strong relationships she builds throughout the lending process.

Amanda is passionate about giving back to her community and was an active member of Junior Auxiliary of Hammond for many years, where she remains a lifetime member. Outside of work, Amanda and her husband, Dwayne, enjoy staying active, trying new restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints as season ticket holders. The couple also owns a local gym in Baton Rouge, BR Active. In 2018, they built their own home with Level Homes in Prairieville, where they now live with their two rescue dogs, Teddy and Birdie.

Whether she is helping a first-time homebuyer, a new construction client, or a repeat customer, Amanda brings a personal touch, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to making the home loan process as seamless as possible.
